Well I know on some cars you can do it by going under the car and you should be able to see the cable and linkage in the general area under where it would be inside the car. There is a nut of some sort there that you can tighten and viola. I do not know if it is the same with the Camaro, may have to take off the center console and tighten it up there. I'm sure someone will chime in with a for sure answer soon though, or you could try looking up tech articles on the web. I'm sure there are lots of write-ups on it.

Take off both rear rotors; inside you'll see the "mini-drum" parking brake mechanism and shoe.
The wheel cylinder for each side is adjustable in that you can spin the little gear dealie on the end counterclockwise to expand the shoe outward. Remember how many turns you did to one side and do the same to the other.
By pushing it out further you're making it engage sooner. Also, while in there you may as well check the condition of the shoe (it might be pretty worn).

i would then say , you may have stretched your cable, highly unlikely but possible, i guess, pull of the dash and check the point of connection there and then under the car and look for stretched or partly broken cable,,, there shouldnt be too much involved here,
make sure that everything is working properly so i guess take off the rotors and operatae the e brake, and make sure with a friend that both sides are expanding correctly , thats about all i can tell you without looking at it myself
