a little disappointed today..
the damn dyno at WCC didn't like the GN.. it took a hour to get the RPM lead to even work and it STILL didn't work correctly.. but i was like F it, i want to pull some numbers.. well, the dyno only recorded up to 5000RPM due to that problem and my car runs up to 6500RPM..
the car was picking up 110RWHP every 1000 RPM, so we think that it would have put down 710RWHP.. PLUS the car wasn't even cold, it was red hot due to us running it for about that hour trying to get that problem fixed..
O well.. Damn Buick...
the chart shows that it was still pulling hard up to 5000..
Thanks LS1Dave for taking the photos and hanging out for 3 hours LOL..

it's between really 2 cars right now...
99 Viper GTS ACR black on black.. those cars have FULL forged motors and car support 800 to 900RWHP stock.. thinking of putting on a Twin Turbo kit and calling it a day
or a 08 Z06.. just bolt ons (headers, high flow cats, Tune, intake ) maybe a cam .. once it's paid off, then a turbo kit or big blower..
BUT i was even thinking about a LS3 Vette, due to the price.. i get Supplier Discount at Chevy for work so on a LS3 plain Jane i can get a out the door price of 40K.. Install the same stuff as i stated above..
don't know.. i have to sell the GN (and my TT 300zx) first before i can act on my dreams LOL..

i when home and looked it up and found out that i also have the X plan discount for Ford, and also a discount with dodge (and everything else they make)..
So for a new LS3 or Z06 i'm looking at 9 to 12K off the price..
-Z06 out the door with taxes for 64K..
-the Viper would be around 55K due to it being a ACR (only 215 made and 30 only in black in 1999) also the car has 10,000 miles on it..
-Black LS3 with the Z51 and NPP with Gray wheels for 40K..

Ah that sucks nordy...so you have a buyer for it already?! Goodluck
Id personally go w the ls3 or the z06...but a viper will still be killer!...hopefully i'll get to check out the GN before it goes to its new owner..

i like the vettes due to the 100K warrenty, plus they are NEW and i don't have to wrench every weekend..
the Viper is just sick looking, and i love that they are low production and that you don't see them a lot on the streets..
