I give up
Yea i really give up. Car just ended for the second time on ebay this time I posted the car with no nitrous and waited almost a week before i relisted it. After about 10 calls on the car, no one actually coming out to see the car, having almost 1200 hits on ebay, 28 watchers, and the mid not even hitting mid 10,500 I give up. I really dont understand it compared to other cars on ebay etc the car was priced a lot better. I've had countless people tell me the car is immaculate, cleanest camaro they've seen etc. Some guy ran a carfax cause he didnt believe me the car was never reapainted. I've had people say the car is priced to low, etc but yet no hits to speak of. I have the title in hand and am wondering if there is a way to take a loan out on the car for a little bit to pay off debt and do a few things. Personal loan rates are crazy right now. Anyone know?

Cars are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. And its not exactly a sellers market right now. If you could have got 10.5 for it, Id say thats a good deal. If you think its worth more than that just keep it.

na not everyone has the crunch. Really it just narrows your type of people down. People are still looking and if someone is looking for a camaro, trans am, mustang, cobra, etc its 2 types of people the young kid who thinks he can afford it right now and the older guy that has his cookies in the jar (that might be no house payment, kids out of college, etc) looking for a toy. You loose the middle class buyer right now. People are inquiring about cars cause they are going cheaper then before, that also brings in more comp etc.

so basically your saying a 99 showroom condition, 24k miles, should be selling for a nice chunk under kbb. I say thats not a good deal, thats a slap in the face and someone is selling if they need to make a house payment etc. I've been watching ebay the past 2 weeks and cars between 15-30k miles (I did not watch 02s mainly 98-00's) have gone for 15k plus.

like I said, its only worth what someone will pay for it. You can stare at KBB.com or edmunds or whatever until your blue in the face, but they wont buy your car for that price. Get what I'm saying?

I agree with what's been posted above, a car is only worth what someone will pay for it and it's a buyer's market right now. Oversupply, decreased demand, lower prices. KBB and Edmunds are just tools to help you price.
On a smaller note, I think a stalled A4 scares some buyers and buyers prefer M6s. You are looking for a smaller subsection of buyers.
I really think you should be prepared for a long sales cycle and do not give up just yet.

He is AZ. So smog isn't the issue. I think its the fact that it has been modded. The people that can or want to buy the car right now don't really want anything that modded. Just list it without mods. Say it has like exhaust and intake or some bull **** to not scare away the older people looking for a toy, or the younger kids parents that are buying it for the kid.

the market does suck. i put my 1jz 240sx right hand drive on ebay. Mind you its one of the fastest 240's in the country and super clean. house of kolorz paint and lots of carbon fiber. I had 8000 views which is insane. My highest real bid was $5000. Another thing you can look at completed listings on ebay. but remeber people bid up there own auctions.
