Looking at an 01 Z06 80K on chassis, 30k on 383 stroker, and 25k on built driveline. Car has full pfadt suspension, vortech blower makes 650whp& 600wtq with alky injection, Msd coil packs, Mc Cloud twin disc clutch. Car has seen the track some but mostly a street car. would i have any issues buying this car. Talked to the owner today for a few minutes sounds like everything was done right and cost didnt matter. can get it for around the 20K mark

I would make sure it wasn't abused. Look for leaks, listen for unusual noises while driving it, etc. Get receipts for as many parts as you can. I would be a little concerned about the mileage because I am sure they were hard miles.

I'm sure they were hard miles as well. That does not bother me I beat the **** out of my SS all the time. I'm more concerned about longevity of the built motor. Do they require any extra attention than a stock motor

$20k might not be too much for it but 30k is a lot of miles on a hot rod motor. I would say the hot rod parts could be just about wore out. If u like to beat on car and this one has had hard miles, things will be breaking.
