Default How do YOU clean your wheels?

Just wanted to see how everyone else cleans their wheels. Do you take the tire off everytime, polish them, etc...

Didn't find anything in the search and I thought this would be interesting....

depends on what kind of wheels you have. i've had black replica z06 wheels with the rivets and i used a tooth brush to clean those. i've found that the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work really really well for just a good cleaning whenever you wash the car. as far as aluminum i just polish them like every 3 or 4 times i wash it. chrome just gets a good coat of wax every 6 months or so

Does anything take all their tires off each time to get a full detail. I know there has to be some clean freaks out there.

I just scrub them with a wheel brush and eagle one cleaner, get in behind the spokes and the calipers, then hose off. Wax every few months. I take them off every few months too and get the whole weel again.

Glass cleaner here..on chrome. and i wipe them down quite often. once or twice a year i take them off to clean the inside barrels out. As much as i want CCW's i dont know that i could spend $2800 on polished wheels...too much work to keep em shiny

Soap and water, agitated with a soft brush.

Hoops get polished by hand with Mother's Billet. Follow that with Mother's Carnuba Wax.

Centers are clearcoated, so I just give those a coat of Mother's Carnuba Wax.

It depends how much time I have...If I'm doing an all-out inside/outside detail, I'll typically have a bucket specifically for handwashing the wheels(Microfiber sponge). Now, if I don't have a lot of time, I'll use Sprayway glass cleaner with a microfiber towel.

I feel like an *** for not cleaning the the backside of my wheels in 2+ years...
