Default New wheels are in, take a look

so i finally got my ZR1's in today. now ive just got to get tires, haha

i took a few members advise and just bought new, because i ended up paying less new than i had been quoted for used ones. got this set on ebay for $400 shipped. and very happy with the look,

one question though, as you look at the pictures, look how the measusurements all come up an inch bigger than they should, am i measuring wrong or did i get 10.5" and 12" wheels? i must be doing something wrong but i cant figure out what ive overlooked.

Did you put them side by side and see if one was taller?

It's normal for measurements to be like that. The outside dimension is not the same as the advertised width of the wheel.

if you ordered 17x9.5 and 17x11 then your measurements are correct..the size that is listd is not measured lip to lip (most wheels) are measured for the area in between the lips which is actually the barrel

2x Put them side by side and see.

Don't put it on the lip to lip measure the area in between the lips to other side and stop before the lip. My ws6 spare rims showed 11" lip to lip then i measured area in between the lips showed 9"

okay, cool. i thought that was it but just wanted to make sure. haha, i have a one-off set of 17x12 zr1's

and yes they are supposed to be staggered, so one is really 9.5" and the other is 11". and im glad im not crazy or my tape measure isnt off because i looked at the diameter and it was like 18 3/4"s so im good.
