Default Will a 305/45/18 M/T ET Street Radial fit on the back of a Camaro w/ Stock Spring?

I'm just wondering if a Mickey Thomson ET Street Radial in a 305/45/18 would fit on a Camaro? It's 28.8" tall, and 11.8" wide. I know I would probably have to run a stock rear spring. Thanks

would it fit???.....yes. but, it may take a little coercion with the bfh.

would it look like crap???.....yes. unless you had a set of 26" skinnies on the front.

If instead of the 45 sidewall what about the 35 sidewall. Does anyone know if the 35 sidewall would offer enough flex to get a launch on?

since a picture is worth a thousand words, I'll save myself a thousand words or so. look at the first pic in this thread. https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...h-radials.html

see how bad a 2" mismatch in diameter looks with wide tires on all 4 corners??? now a drag set up, on the other hand, looks badass with a wide 28/ narrow 26 combo.

Okay but those are M&H tires. The Mickeys will look a lot wider and I feel will give it a better stance.

width doesn't affect stance, only diameter does. and those mt's are almost an inch taller than the m&h's. the diameter difference will be even more pronounced. I had the same thought as you UNTIL I saw that pic. I'm glad I didn't spend the money.
