Default People with 18s Come in. Good Cheap 295

Hey guys I was tire shoppin, and typed in 295/35/18 (26" OD) in tirerack and much to my surprise, the first tire to pop up Goodyear GS-D3.....$163.

If i had the wheels already, Id put my order in right now, considering these are great tires that are normally expensive as hell, and they are the cheapest thing availbale while this sale is going on.

You guys need to get all over this.

I'm under the impression tirerack is a sponsor, if not please delete this.

It really is a good deal though. I ordered a pair, and I don't have wheels yet.

Damn, that's a good deal. They seem to have them on other tire sizes as well. I wish I needed street tires, why can't they run that price on a set of slicks??

I also jumped on that deal.. Suprising they have been on sale since early Oct. Just wish all the other sizes were cheap. Another member pointed it out too >> https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...-163-each.html

Just grabbed a pair for my fronts. I told my buddy at the Goodyear shop down the road and he said that his cost on those is $320 each. Not sure how valid that is because I don't recall the specific pricing before the sale, however this seems to be a great price for that tire.

I'm thinking about possibly picking some up for the front. But, my fronts are so new, that I'd rather spend the money on something else.

I have Y2K Corvette wheels on my 95 Formula. 18 x 9.5 front and 18 x 11 out back. I know these tires will fit the back as that is what I am running now. Will they fit the 9.5 inch rim up front? Only reason I ask is the 275/35zr18's run 400 and change a pop. Not looking to spend that kind of jingle right now.

The 275/40/ZR18's are also on closeout at $163 each and should fit your fronts just fine. I just got my front pair in yesterday. Sharp looking tire!

Ive seen them on a 10.5 and they sit pretty flush with the lip.

GS-D3s run wide not narrow

Recommended rim width for the GS-D3 is from 10-11.5" It would bulge on a 9.5 wheel...but some dont seem to mind it 10.5" is ideal... Those pics show it on a 10.5
