BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT or Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
Need a 295/35/18 rear tire for my new rims coming in. I'm looking for decent grip (400rwhp) but a fairly quiet ride. I seem to get alot of road noise currently. It isn't a daily driver so wet and tread life isn't a huge concern. Both these tires are available locally and the Bridgestones are only $18 more than the KDWs.
Let me know if any of you have experience with either or both of these.
Thanks!

I have had recent experience with both although the 760s were 275/35/18 and the bfgs 275/40/17. The 760s ANY DAY over the bfgs. the bgs were absolute crap compared to the 760s. The tread depth seemed deeper and squirmier when pushed hard. they (bfgs) really squeal at the limit too which some may like... I hated it. I like to slide the tail sometimes when I'm in the spirited mood at low speeds and the bfgs screamed and yelled for miles around
The 760 looks better on the sidewall and tread too.
vs
I was definitley more comfortable with the 760s because I had them for longer. I trusted them 100% though I ripped turns at insane speeds on on/off ramps and high speed curves (140+mph). great tire

Hmm, sounds like the RE760s may be the way to go. While I like the tread pattern of the KDWs, the last time I bought tires for tread pattern were GSD3's and they were crap and hardly lasted 15k.

I didnt have the BFGS for more than a month and a half. I sold the wheels as fast as I could lol. I did drive the car really hard though. They're not kdws but I can tell you one thing about ANY tire that is designed for good wet performance... The tread contact patch is ALWAYS less and the tread depth may be deeper as well leading to more noise. Both of those are done to help get the water out from under the tire reducing the chance of hydroplaning. Deeper tread depth also leads to squirmier road feel especially at the limit. That's why R compound or close tires usually have very very minimal depth when new.
I would do google searches and on tire rack looking at comparos of the tires. I could be wrong and the kdws blow away the 760s in comparisons... I was just adding my .02 of subjective opinion
