Default Looking for a replacement for my NT555

I have NT555 on my car now and I have to say that they are the best street tire that i have ever used, but now since i swapped to a bigger engine they don't have the traction I need. I was looking at getting the NT05. Does anyone have any experience with this tire or can recommend a good tire that is similar.

i think the nt05 is more geared towards road race style tires. u r probably gonna have to run a drag radial for traction. i say stay with what u have and get a set of rear wheels u can put some slicks on if u race ur car.

How much power are you putting down, and what are you doing with the car?

555R's and 05R's are both great tires, but depending upon what you've got for a setup/goal/use of the car, you may want some Mickey Thompson ET streets.

I'm putting down b/t 600 to 650 to the wheels. I looking for a tire that i can use on the street and have some traction with them.

At that power level, you might wanna look into drag radials..but I'd get more info on Nt05 since I'm not a big fan of drag radial when its a street car; dont get caught into the rain with drag radials!

Mickey Thompson ET streets...don't bother with anything else. These tires have been proven over and over again.
