rolling fenders to clear 305's with drop?
just wanted to know if anybody here has HAD to roll their fenders to clear 305's out back im looking to lower my car less than 2 inches all the way around, probably something along the lines of the pro kit or equivalent thanks

I would say plan on it. I had 295s that kissed the fender once or twice on my pro-kit. Wheel offset will have a lot to do with it, but for reasons of common sense, get the roller out.

I have 295/50/16(mickey thompson DRs) on stock 16x8s. My car is slammed in the front with some DA strange springs and shocks and lowered in the back with some SLP bilstein springs from a SS that had the bilstein package. I had planned on rolling the fenders but there is actually a good amount of room between the tire and quarter panel. It actually just barely clears the inside front edge too. I didn't have to do anything to fit yet.

any car with a pro kit drop will rub
you are probably running Nitto 315's (which are more like a 275 width)
or running a small rim less than 10.5" because any 315 tire on an 11" wide rim you would either be rubbing on the inside or cutting up the side walls on the outside
either that or you beat the **** out of the inside of your wheelwell and running an adj panhard bar

I've had many cars with prokits and sportlines. Ive also owned lots of 17x11 rear wheels. From my experience with a prokit, rolling fenders wasn't needed. Sportlines, it was. Also if you are running something narrow like a nitto tire, you will obviously have a less chance of needing to roll your fenders. But it really is a case by case situation. Some cars need it, some don't.

I was just stating that you should not misinform people if you dont know what you are talking about. He stated dropping the car less than 2 inches and Probably using the Pro Kit. To state that Any tire wider than 295 will not fit without rolling the fenders is wrong.
I know for a fact and from experience. I have 17x11 rims and BFG tires. And yes i have a adj. panhard along with all my other adjustable suspension. You are very good at assuming what works, and not knowing.

from the years of reading this same question on these boards, it seems that it depends on the car...ive seen people who have had to roll their fenders and BFH mod with 315 on stock height...and me myself ran 315's with the prokit on two diff cars and had to do nothin....so to answer your question correctly, just do it and see what happens!

Even if you have to roll the fenders, its very easy to do. I just used a baseball bat and wedged it at an upward angle between the fender and the tire. It took about 10 minutes at the most per wheel.

Undertow there is no way your car is lowered and you are running 315 BFG's on and 11" wide wheel and did not either beat in the inner wheelwells or roll your quarters.
I want to see some pictures of your set up on your car.
Here is my car (Trans Am) with Fikse wheels with TA offsets running an 11" wide wheel
notice where the edge is aligned with the quarter panel.
with 315 Michelins or Goodyears it would rub, with 305 Toyos it would rub.
It was the case with my other 4 TA's. The only time it did not rub was if I was running Nittos which ran super narrow and basically was not a true advertised width.
The only way I can see it not rubbing would be if you ran Vette offsets and beat the inner wells in like a bad stepchild and or
your car was not lowered, running a factory 4x4 truck stance.
my TA is also lowered to the right stance in which a TA should look and does not look like a 4x4 truck.

Before I lowered mine, I ran 305/35/18 nitto 555 dr's and had to roll the rear lips. Before rolling, there were a few nice sized slashes in the side walls. I guess it all depends on the width and offset of the wheels.
