Black or polished ZR1's?
Okay, so i have a dilemma. i'm going to buy wheels pretty soon, but i can't quite decide which way to go; black ZR1's, or polished ZR1's
my car is a red Z28 hardtop, the roof and mirrors are painted the same color as the body, so i'm considering polished because there really isn't any black on the car (other than the grill/headlight buckets) but i think black would justify doing a berger panel
any suggestions would be appreciated

i agree there are a lot of people out there with black wheels and a berger, but around here i'm one of two V8 Camaro's, and all the others are running stock wheels like mine is now. so if i did the black/berger i'd definitely be different, but only around here.
and yeah, chrome is just a little too much for me
but i'll probably just end up getting polished, i can always change things later if i feel inclined to. thanks for your input

I say black with polished lip....and shiney lug nutz!
I painted mine graphite metallic and it was easy to do...Duplicolor's stuff has held up VERY well. You'll be more inclined to spray over black rather than polished if you decide to go with a custom color

i think black looks pretty good on red, even better when the sail panels are black too. the only thing holding me back is because i don't have any other black on my car, that's why i'm leaning more toward polished
well my stock wheels are polished, so i know what it's like to clean them. i have a rag in my car that i usually run over my wheels once a week or so. i have a fairly bad issue with brake dust on my driver side front wheel, would that show up very much on black?

i wash it occasionally. my wheels aren't in great condition to begin with (my car had a rough life before we saved her) my worst wheel is my driver's front, i haven't had any scratches so far. i've ran my car duster oven them a few times too, and of course used wheel cleaner
it's looking like polished is winning over black
