How to tell if 98-99 zr1 wheels are oem?

Default How to tell if 98-99 zr1 wheels are oem?

I have included pics of the stamping on the outside of the rim, please let me know how to tell if they are original or not. Thank You

They look oem to me, what makes you wonder if they aren't?

I would think the stamping would say GM?

I think SLP sourced the wheels but I could be wrong.

the are not original gm wheels. They would have GM stamped instead of that stamp.

These were not made by GM they were made by slp

What makes you think SLP made those wheels when they were originally made for the '94 and '95 Corvette ZR.1 and then the '96 Grand Sport?

Well I saw a numbers matching 96 ss at my local dealership with 3,000 miles on it. And it had the same stamp on the wheels.

that stamp is a rating stamp buy the japanese wheel organization its a protocol that manufactuers can send there wheel off and see if it meets there standards for load trueness and others porsche wheels and other manus like enkei and other japanese wheels will have this stamp

my zr1 vette wheels has a gm stamp and inside to with some numbers.

Yup mine had a GM logo as well. The wheels look good on your car.
