Want to buy forgestar f14! Fitment/tire questions..
Whats up guys. I'm looking to put some forgestar f14's on my trans am. Car is lowered on koni's/strano with misc suspension pieces. I am setting it up to be a sporty daily driver as well as a fun autocross toy on the weekend.
For sizes I dont know exactly what to go for. I would like 18x9.5 by 18x10.5 or 11". If I can fit the 11" wheel without rolling my fender that would be awesome. I'd like a 315 in the rear. Maybe a 295/35/18? What offset??
As far as tires, like I said sporty daily driver and autocross toy. I don't drive the car easy, and the rain here in Seattle area is a big factor.
I appreciate any opinions/comments. Thanks in advance guys.

I would like a wider tire all around so I can have the concave on all 4. The car is pewter. Lowered on konis and stranos. Heres a pic.

If you're going with 10's and 11's, your fronts should be 275 or 285 and your rears should be 295, 305, or 315 wide. Go to various tire websites to look at specs and reviews to choose the ones right for you and that fit your budget.

Agreed. Nine Ball is a class act and helped me quite a bit in ordering mine. You will need to roll the rear fenders in order to get the wheels to be flush with the fenders. As Dr Tran said, it's well worth it.

Regular Brushed Titanium finish (Mine) :
The new premium Hand Brushed:
And a Quote from Nineball:
$500 upgrade finish, they are fully polished and then hand-brushed. They look like HRE wheels in person.

I'm running the F14s on my 2000 Z28. I love them.
Specs:
Textured Gunmetal 18x9.5 frnt +37 offset with normal concave clearing BBK (I wish I had gone with 18x10 in a deep concave up front) Kumho Ecsta XS 275/35.
18x11 rear +43 offset, deep concave, Hankook Ventus RS2 315/30 (315 Kumhos still on BO). I rolled my fenders and did the BFH mod with previous wheel/tire set-up so I have no clearance issues.

I just saw what you sent me on FB Mike. That does look outstanding. I wish it was around when I was in the market for some wheels, thats exactly what I wanted. $500 is still cheaper than what it would of costed to get them chromed. I guess I know what I will be getting when I switch things up.

They are nice, make sure you check and double check.
My buddy ordered a set of 20" for his procharged new gt, got in 2 piano black fronts, and 2 flat black rears.. already mounted and balanced.. it surprises me how no one caught it beforehand

LS1HighLife & DRTran - Can we get some shots from the front and back showing how your offset/widths fit with the fenders?
I'm thinking 18x10 F & R to get the deep concaves but I need to make sure the fronts can clear the CTS-V Brembos.
