Default 295 65 15 Drag Radial fitment?

I am needing some taller tires and would prefer not to change gears again. According to calculations I think I need to be around 30" tall and these seem to fit the bill. I currently have the 295 55 15 drag radial and they fit great no issues. Just wondered if anyone is using them and how hard they are to fit?

Thanks
Jason

Are you lowered? If so you may need an adjustable panhard. If you've already rolled you're quarters and trimmed the bump stop I think you should be good to go.

i helped a friend install this size tire on his t/a a while back. took some doing but it worked. rolled lip, some hammering, and bumper had to be trimmed by the back of the tires. cant remember exactly how much but I think it was about an inch or maybe more.

I'm not lowered. The bumpstops have already been removed. Thanks for the feedback.

Post up some pics of them mounted. And, of what you had to do to get them to fit.

Ordered the Hoosier DOT drag radials, 295 65 15. They are around .5" smaller diameter so it may help with trimming and getting them to fit.

I ended up not changing tires, just stuck with the MT 295 55 15. I had to do some gentle massaging but dont have any issues.

My 285/55/15 hoosiers rubbed the inner wheel well, i couldnt bfh it enough had to run a spacer and roll the fenders. It may be tough to fit anything taller. I am lowered on stranos/qa1s in the rear, and coil overs in the front.
