Default Katech Titanium 12x1.5mm 12pt lug nuts. Finally, an affordable, quality Ti lug nut!

In the past, racers and weight nuts have paid up to $500 for titanium lug nuts. We are now offering these high quality pieces at a very affordable price of $6.99 each.

What's the weight savings versus normal steel nuts?

Also, what size 12pt socket do they require?

I weighed a standard Corvette steel lug nut at 50g. The titanium is 16g.

17mm 12pt

Other than an pretty nice weight savings, are there any other advantages/ disadvantages? Are they Corvette specific, or can they be run on an F-body?

Weight savings, looks, durability, low profile, open so they can fit on cars with longer studs. No disadvantages other than costing more than a standard lug. They can be used on any car with a 12x1.5mm stud and 60 degree conical seat, so yes they can be used on an F-body.

ANY chance they will ever be offered in a standard 6 point hex pattern??

Also, are these made here, or China/Japan/Taiwan?

To add another question will you guys make these for 1/2" studs? I'd be down for some but I'm running weld wheels as well.

China. If they were made here they would be at least $25/each.

Not yet. I'm going to put them on our Z06, but I'm waiting for the black ones since it has black wheels. We are doing a version with a durable black finish.
