Unhappy BFG comp ta DR (discontinued)

i was just about to finally buy some 275-40-17
BFG comp ta drag radials and was going to get a good price whaen both
costco and discount ties told me that they were discontinued??????

anyone else heard this?

They have replaced them with their new g-Force Drag radial which is supposed to hook better in dry, and be more tolerable in wet conditions.

Tire Rack now sells both of the new ones. They now have g-Force Drag Radial 2, which I havent seen before.

****, one of mine just went flat. The other has about 150 miles on it, and maybe 8 track passes...

Same tire, just changed names.

"The only change will be the tire's name on the sidewall. The g-Force T/A Drag Radial-2 will retain the Comp T/A Drag Radial's dimensions and proven asymmetric tread pattern, making it compatible with the original Comp T/A Drag Radial, allowing both tires to be paired together for use on the same axle. While the name change will take place gradually during the second and the third quarter of 2004, BFGoodrich plans to convert all sizes by the fourth quarter"
