Default Anything wrong with only running DRs in back?

Going to order my stall on Monday and I have a feeling that my Fuzion ZRi's aren't going to like it too much. They'll just end up screaming and smoking, so I might have to get some Nittos in the near future. The car is my daily driver, so would there be anything wrong with only running them in back and keeping my cheaper tires up front? I've seen quite a few cars do this, but I was just wondering if it would be acceptable.

Yep! DR's on the rear only is fine. That's what most people do anyway.

You only need them in the back to hook.

I wouldn't run DR's on the front. Not enough sidewall stiffness for cornering.
I run 555RII's on all 4 corners and my buddy with a vette runs 555RII's on the front and the 555R's on the rear.
Here are 2 vids, one of me and one of the vette,

I've got them on all 4 corners and if I had to do it over I'd probably have gone with them just on the rear. The fronts aren't too bad with the pressure cranked up to 40 psi though. Never had a problem with them rolling over. I have noticed up on mountain roads I can throw it hard into the curves and it'll stick where as with my regular street tires they would give up and start squalling way sooner.

Sorry for saying "DRs all around". What I really meant was "Can I run NITTO DRs in back alone?"

I know a lot of guys run Nittos all around, but just the DRs in back.

Should be fine, they are still a radial tire. When you mix bias-ply and radials is where you can get into problems.

I've run Kumho Ecsta ASXs in front and Nittos on the rear for a little over a month with NO trouble at all. Even made a 750 mile road trip.
