Default TTII owners, advice needed

Hi all. I recently handpolished my TTII's useing the mothers aluminum polish and they looked great. 2 weeks later, they have faded again . Is there a better product for polishing the wheels, and is there a product that will make the polish last longer? I did a search, but didnt find what i was looking for. Thanks in advance.

There's nothing. The best you can do is, polish them up REALLY good, then have the clearcoated, or you can always have them powdercoated (sig)

The problem with clearing them is they will look dull. Your best bet is to polish them up real well and use Zoops seal on them. That should help the shine last longer.

Adamp its nice not to polish our wheels now isn't it. I was polishing every two weeks but now I don't do it that often and don't spend nearly as much time on them

I was just waxing them after polishing them and they would stay to my satisfaction for a few months with a couple of washes in between.

I've had mine for 6 months and only polished them once just for the heck of it and they did't look any different when i was done. Not sure what the deal is but i guess there just not old enough yet to need freaquent polishing.

Zoop is a seal that goes on wheels. Almost like a clear coat, kinda dirty proofs them, like a wax for your wheels kinda. Just Google ZOOP SEAL

I use the Poorboys World wheel sealant on my TTIIs and they look brand new after 4 months on the car.

http://www.poorboysworld.com/wheel-sealant.htm

Clean and polish your wheels and then apply 2 - 3 coats of this sealant. Dirt and brake dust don't stick and they are dead easy to keep clean.
