Modern F-body rims on old GM beater?
Anyone know if 4th-gen wheels will fit an older
(1968 El Camino) properly? Right now it's got
"uni-lug" wheels and tires showing cord. The
17x9 painted SS 10-spokes are what I have in
mind. Failing this maybe the older, 16" third-gen
rims would do. But skinny original 14s are right
out of the question.

You would need big spacers to get them to fit, about the same as when a 3rd gen puts 4th gen wheels on.
and by spacers I mean the really thick ones that have another set of studs on them. You'd have to research which thickness you need though.
