Default Weight of different wheels

Is there any compilation of weights of different wheels? My 02 ws6 wheels weigh in a 54lbs with 275/40/17 tires. Thats heavy imo, I'm looking for a lighter 17" wheel option for the street/track.

Any info appreciated

Don't stop with just lightweight wheels. The next time you need tires consider this.... (see my post about 1/2 way down the page)

You can save even more rotating mass with lighter tires, too!!

damn, that does seem a bit heavy for a stock rim/tire combo. My 18x9.5 chrome ZO6 replicas with a 265/35/18 BFG KD tire with 75% thread left weighs in at 53lbs.

I am hoping with my new iForged rims and PS2 tires I will be down around the 50lb per wheel area.

I missed your last post. Thanks for the input on the PS2's. I wish more tire manufactures made 285/40-17's. I like a tire with a bit more sidewall. My car isn't lowered (daily driver + deep snow = not lowered) and I like the way the taller sidewalls help fill the wheelwell.
