Opinions...Black Hawk Wheels??

Opinions...Black Hawk Wheels?? I know they don't look great.....a little paint shop action. But you get the idea. I am skeptical about painting my Firehawk wheels, but I think it looks pretty good. What do you all think, do it or don't.

I wouldn't do it, but that is just my opinion. I think it looks great as is.
If you want black wheels, go with C6 wheels or ZR1's with a chrome lip. Genuine Firehawk wheels are pretty rare and worth alot, I think.
However, if you did do it I would definitely recommend doing something about the yellow "Firehawk" on the sides. Perhaps change it to black a black "Firehawk".

Changing the Firehawk letters to black would really take away from the car since they are supposed to be yellow. But then again one could make that argument about the wheels. I view them in different lights, but I imagine I will keep them chrome since they are rare and hard to come by. Thanks for all the input.

There is a black hawk here in town with aluminum wheels, the spokes are painted black with the aluminum lip and it always catches my eye. I guess its different in a good way.

I have a red Firebird and seriously am considering black wheels w/a polished lip. I really like the way it looks, but I wouldn't touch the Firehawk rims! I would sell them and buy different wheels.
