Default ZO6 wheels question?? 18's all the way around..

Can I mount a 225/40/18 for the fronts on a 18-9.5 and will the 18-10.5 fit perfect or will it rubb with a 295/35/18 tire.. Would I need spacers??? I wanna keep the front a 225 if not then a 245 but I got 2 brand new 225 so could they??

I ran 18's on all four corners. Best look in my honest opinion. I definitely would NOT run a 225 series tire on a 9.5" wheel . . . it will look really goofy. The tire will be narrower than the wheel.

Perfect tire for the front is a 275/35ZR18

With mine i ran a 265/35/18 (9.5) in the front and in the back had the 295/35/18 BFG DR's in the back and the only time i would rub in the back is when cornering pretty hard and i didnt have to use a spacer

i got the 18's all around zo6's now... 9.5 in front, and 10.5 in back... i have a 275-35-18 in front, and a 295-35-18 in back... no rubbing at all.. i want to get a 305 back there... but for now this is cool.. i wouldnt go and narrow than a 275 in the front.. IMO narrow than that wouldnt look rite...

I had 245/40/18 in the front and 275/35/18 in the rear on my SS and the staggered look was great. Your car will actually handle better with the smaller tires in the front and larger tires in the rear.

I dont want anything bigger then a 255 in front but I got some BRAND NEW 225/40/18 tire so it will fit but might look goofy to some people.... Right??? I got 295/35/18 for my rears just need to know if those will fit safely dont care about the look..

Why dont you care about the look? I have 275/35/18 best all around size for 18s.

First of all, I'm not flaming anyone with this comment. I just do not understand how anyone could put something less that what is RIGHT on their car. If you put nice wheels on your car, at least put nice tires on the wheels. Don't put something that isn't meant to be on the wheel just because you have it laying around. Buy what needs to go on the wheel and sell what you have laying around. Someone will need them.

honestly man that is going to look horrible imo....225 is way too small of a tire for a 9.5 inch rim, and i dont even know if it will work? i doubt whomever mounts it would let you ride with that.....in fact, 245 would be too small, 275 is perfect...

265 is as small as you would want to go on a 9.5 tire

As for the big tire in the back lol i like havin the Steam Rollers back there
