Default 315 tires

Has any one used 315/35/17 sumitumo(spelling?) tires? Do they rubb? My car has SS rear springs on the rear. It rubbs the hell out of the Dunlops 8000. I go through a set on the rear a year. I figure why pay $288 a tire when I can pay $107 if they are going to last just as long. They seem to have pretty good reviews on Tire Rack. What do you guys think? Is that the absolute smallest tire I can fit on there? By small, I mean 285 or a 295 width not height. If not what else can I use. It does rub alot. Please let me know. Fixing to order a set Friday. I need some bad. Thanks for the advise.

Should I just chunk these wheels and go with some 17x9.5 all around? I started doing a search and found that the 17x11 slow the car down. Let me know.

I'm in San antonio too. I'll give you one 17x9.5 + some cash for your 2 17x11's, then you could use 275's all the way around.
let me know

true, they do. I have 17x11's on the rear as well. But if you look a few posts up, You were thinking about "chunking" them and getting 17x9.5's all the way around. I have a spare 17x9.5 in the garage. Thats why I was asking, to try to help you out. No big deal tho, goodluck.

I got them. they are great street tires, but DO NOT take them to the track. they wouldnt hook even if they were covered in super glue. they will NOT stick. AND yes, they rub technically. my wheel took most of the damage but a hammer took care of the wheel well.

these are really good tires for the $$. just be prepared to bang your wheel wells
