Default Requesting pics of Pewter SS w/ wheels

Does anyone have pics of a Pewter SS with the stock gunmetal/dark silver Z06 wheels installed? Prefer the 17's in front and 18's in the rear. Right now I have 18" polished Z06 wheels all the way around. My buddy wants my wheels on his Z06 real bad and we were thinking about swapping and he would give me some money too. I really want to see how they would look in a picture first. I threw in a pic as the car sits now. Any thoughts and pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Another vote for KEEP THEM!! Up to you though. Although you could trade him with the cash and sell them if you dont like em. OEM ZO6 wheels are worth alot to the right person. Their is a set in a local mag. here selling for $2200

First of all whoever buys a set of chrome zo6's for $2200 is a damn fool. Second of all definately leave the chrome or go black, gunmetal looks like *** *usually* in the first place, and it will look even more akward on pewter.

Not a SS, but close enough No center caps tho, they were borrowed race wheels. The car had G2 springs with Konis. Factory 2002 ZO6 wheels, 275/40/17 front tires, 305/30/18 rear tires. The rears required a spacer (7/32") to prevent rubbing on the inside fender. The fronts fit perfect.

I thought they looked great on the car, but then again, I'm not a fan of chrome wheels at all. The closest I had to chrome wheels was my polished CCW classics, and well, they're just dead sexy wheels in their own right

I like the look of that. I'm impressed. Are those silver or are they like a charcoal/dark silver/gunmetal? Thanks for sending those.

They're closest to gunmetal, not a bright silver.

Get your friend's wheels sell the front wheels and then with all the extra money, buy some 18" gunmetal/ silver wheels to match the rears and be set.

If he's a friend. Why not swap them out and see what they look like.

How did the car handle in the autocross with the staggered setup? Does having thin sidewalls in the rear make the car more prone to oversteer? Thanks.

Mine isn't an SS either, but you get the idea. The front end looks high because the front left of the car is up on a jack. 275/40/17 fronts and 295/35/18 rears.
