I understand that the 315's will not fit ona 9.5width rim, so what do you guys advise for 17" 9.5" rims
Brand & size, also please give a website if you could?

Are you looking for longer life or better traction??
275/40/17
www.tirerack.com
Or even some of the sponsors carry tires.

Sounds like you have no problems with traction then.
BFG DR's are nice, and will normally go 5000 miles.
The Nitto DR's are longer lasting, but don't hook up as well.
Of course, there is always the Mickey Thompson DR. Little life, but they hook NICE!
Sponsor has them even

K thanks alot man
Hah, the first time I went down the track (1/8th) I spun 330ft down the track and finally hooked.
2nd time wasn't "AS" bad but wasn't great not a very good drag racer heh...
9.64et @ 81.23mph......My first gear spun just a little, but as soon as i hit 2nd the car started going sideways. Ran against a 00something Mustang Gt built with heads, cam, full exhaust, he beat me by .001 accross the finish line

How do the dr's work as street tires? Never thought they'd last long enough/be reliable enough to be used as streets... Right now I have the Michelin Pilot sports for streets and they're a pretty penny to buy... (I've only done one burnout had em for like 6 months)... Hook good on street but spin 330ft down the 1/8th

The Nitto DR's will last a while if you don't abuse them. I have heard 15,000 miles if they are driven lightly.
To me, they drive like a regular street tire, without as much spinning.
I run 315/35/17's on the back for street use. The Nittos. They fight to hold the street WOT in 1st and 2nd gear, but they hold. Barely a chirp into 3rd.
Tryed a 316/35/17 Sumitomo HTR Z and would nail 3rd on the street and fishtail. Chirp 4th gear pretty hard as well. Spins all the way through 1st and 2nd and most of 3rd on a street tire.
