Default Largest rear tire w/o BFH mod on 19" rims

Guys, what is the widest rear tire I could place on a 19x9.5 wheel w/o using the BFH mod to make it fit. I am currently running a 275/30 on all four corners but would like to step up to a 295/30 in the rear. Will I have fitment issues. I have decent amount of space right now btw the rear tire and inner fender. I need to go bigger as in the spring I am installing a D1SC with a forged 347. Any help??

295s will rub on the lip if the car is lowered a lot. Shouldn't have to BFH the inner fenders with a 295 though.

Sounds like you may need to step down to an 18" wheel combo to get a nice drag radial

It all depends on the wheel offset...if you have wheels that tuck really far in (CCWs do that in the rear), you'll be clearancing the inner fenders. I did with my 18x11 rims in the back, and I only run a 295 tire back there.

Yeah, I was actually contemplating doing this so I can run a 295 drag radial out back. The car is lowered about 1.5", it has the Bilstein Ultra Performance suspension package. I could use a little better ride quality as well to be honest.
