Got bored so I painted my wheels
I was getting alittle sick of the stock 10 spoke look, and I'm low on funds after the wedding, so i decided to paint up the stockers. The sun was playing hell on my pics, but I got a few that came out ok. I kinda like the change.

Looks great man, I really like that!
You should hit the wheel well area with some kind of tire foam and/or something like F21 on a rag.
Peace,
Craig.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! I used the Dupli-color automotive gloss black and went back with the dupli-color clearcoat(2 coats). The more I look at them, the better I like them over the stock look. I do need to clean the fenderwells for sure! I'm going to eventually go to a black wheel with a polished lip, just can't make up my mind which route I'm going to take.
The black wheels have really been getting some positive feedback locally as well. Nobody where I live has gone that route(hard to believe with all the black wheels on this site. ). My next mods are going to be stripes of some sort, but I'm torn between which ones to go with. There are alot of choices out there, and I want something I won't regret two weeks later.

Sorry but I hate that crap, its not a Vette, and its not an LT1.
And another reason why I like his wheels is that they are not any kind of Vette wheels. They are SS wheels, not ZR1's, not C5, and not ZO6 wheels that have been played out soo many damn times.
But thats all my opinion too.
Peace,
Craig.

Besides that theres two other routes i'd do:
1. Continue painting between the spokes, and polish the lip. Give it an even more black look.
2. Leave it the way pictured, but just polish everything aluminum visible. Of course this would be a fun job haha

yeah that's what I meant. How did you paint them and what did you use? Did you follow a write up or something? Or do you just know what you're doing and/or have done it before? Teach me!
