Default Rim fell off while driving

So I got my car back from the shop yesterday after getting a new rear/clutch/tranny syncro and I reset the odometer so I can keep track of my clutch break in...16.4 miles later I pull away from a stop light and about 20 feet out..CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK and the car feels like I dropped the rear end and ran it over. I get out and look and my rim is being held up between my body panel and the caliper...Now my rim is Fu**ed and so is my hub...just venting a lil

i had a similar thing happen when i did my 9" the studs pulled out the back and the lugs fell off. i know i tightened the lugs, had a friend verify, but the rear end just dropped. suprising nothing other than the wheel was damaged. sucks though, i feel your pain.

So was this the shops fault? Or did they even take off the wheel?
