Default New Mickey Thompson Dr Design?

I hear the new MT DR's in 17" (or any size for that matter) come with A NEW TREAD PATTERN DESIGN? Is this true? Anyone have any pics?

I just ordered some off Jegs and wanted to know if it's the new or old pattern im getting.

Sure you aren't thinking of the BFG's? There are two different tread designs for the BFG DR, depending on the size you want.

The New Design is ment for Larger wheels, 16/17/18's

the originals are more of a "class" drag radial tire.

There's been a ton of threads here recently about these new tires.

I believe that flame looking tread pattern of the BFG's is only on certain sizes and I don't think any of the 17 inch versions are that tread pattern.

They only make in 15,16,18 FTL! I have heard nothing but great things about the BFG DR1. I just ordered the BFG DR2 to replace my 555r nittos. I hope the BFG DR2 is just as good. I wished I could have gotten the BFG DR1 on a 275/40 17, but they don't make it. Why, I have no idea...
