Default Skinniest front

Wheel suggested on a daily car? I LOVE the slicks/skinny look, and looking at widening/narrowing my wheels, wanna know how narrow would be fine on a daily car. I don't care about handling, just it's a daily car...hah

Are you talking about narrowing your front wheels or getting new wheels up front? "Lots" of people dd with skinnies up front. I know that i sure wouldnt do it though with all the highway driving i have to do, as long as you dont have to deal with winding roads it wouldnt be as big a deal.

Also, if youre talking about just narrowing your fronts then its not a big deal at all. you'll obviously lose some handling, but you wouldnt have to worry since you would actually have a normal radial tire up front.

I have daily drove my car for 3 years on 15x3.5 fronts with skinnies and 15x10 rears with ET streets. my car sees the highway about 3-5 times a week too. their fine as long as you dont try to drive like your on a auto x course.

Just dont try any 100 to 0 stops. They dont tend to stop as well as stockers.

I just put my 3.5" weldprostars on today. I am liking them so far. You can tell you have a 3.5" rim up front, I can tell you that much right now. I was taking a right onto a street just a while ago, and this car was sticking out in th elane so I had to go a little farther then usual and cut into the street, you know what I mean. And when I cut in, you know usually the car would just turn, but with the 3.5" you could feel the sidewall rolling over a bit and it didnt turn in quite like it used too. So you have to drive a little more careful and all. Taking off the sway bar, and grinding the rears tommorow, so I can get ready for the track on the weekend. I let you know how much it dropped with the skinnies and DR's out back. I'll probably post that post in the 11 sec section though...
