gettin some 18's n got a couple of ?'s
alright my formula currently has stock 16' rims on it, so im deciding to spice up my ride a little with some 18's. I really like the c5 and the c6 looks but every1 has em soo i wanna be a little different and i think im goin with these, so lemme know what ya think:

my ? is when i upgrade the tire size im going to have to get my speedometer readjusted correct? someone told me i have to purchase a programmer to do this is this true? b/c i was under the impression i just take it to the shop and they program it themselves and i dont have 2 worry about anything. I wanna also buy KDW tires what size would you go with with this setup? this is my 1st time buyin rims sorry for the newb ?

i've looked at those too. they look the best in chrome. i think they're a good choice. there are some others on here that have them. also, you may want to lower your car a bit after/if you get them to really set them off.

yeaa i think these wheels r sick also, what size KDW tires do i get w/ these rims?
and also the whole speedometer question, going from 16's to 18's do i need 2 purchase a programmer, or can i just take it to a shop and have them adjust it and not worry about it again? will the memory erase the change if my battery is unplugged? like i said ive never bought rims before sorry 4 the newb ?'s

You shouldn't need to reprogram your speedometer as long as you get lower-profile tires than stock. As long as the actual rolling diameter is the same, (meaning more wheel and less sidewall), your speedometer will remain accurate.

the only thing that worried me was the speedo, so i wont need 2 worry about the speedo if i get that size tire right? speedo will still be accurate?
