Any opinions on Falcon tires?
I'm putting on 18'' Z06 motorsport wheels on my 99 camaro. I was going to put on Eagle F1's; however, my mechanic/friend who will be mounting the tires strongly recommends 265R18 Falcon tires. His price quote I believe was $165 each for the tires.
My question is what's your opinions and insight on their tires. I have never heard of them before however I do not believe he is trying to steer me wrong. Also could somebody point me to a website that would have customer reviews for a 265R18 falcon tire I can't even find that.
*Edit* It might actually be spelled Falken.
I found a website, these should be them http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...25&rd=18&ar=35
measurements: 265/35ZR-18

Yeah, it's Falken. Check www.discounttiredirect.com, they carry Falkens and have a reviews section. I've read some of the reviews on the Falken tires, and IIRC they were pretty positive.
Do a search here too, I seem to recall there being a dicussion of this in a tire thread not too long ago.

Yea I did search before I posted. I only found out the correct spelling, which also dawned upon me that I did recognize the brand. Hence why my search yielded little results. Are 35's going to look bad?

I will have to check the exact model but I have Falkens on my dd Colorado as well as on the front of my Camaro. The truck gets around GREAT in the dry and even better in the wet. It actually pisses me off cuz I can't have any powersliding fun in the rain with them. The snow performance is decent if you need to use them for that but there are better alternatives.
I will definately buy them again, especially for the price.
