Default 17's vs 18's

I know tires for 17's are cheaper but won't 18's slow a car down quiet a bit more trying to find that happy medium 17's still look good but a lot of rims I'm seeing I like are 18 and up

i had 18's for almost 2 years, and decided i wanted 17's again.
a heavy 18 could slow you down. depends on the kind of money you want to spend. do you have money for rims like 18 inch CCW's?

when it comes to the tires for the rims, 18s wont give you as big of a side wall...

I wanted 18's till I looked up the price of the damn tires... Just for the rear a 295 or 315 for an 18 was about $120 or more per tire, that made 17's look more appealing. Also is that extra 1" of rim really worth the $.. i vote NO!
