Default Light weight street wheels?

Ok I did a search before posting this so sorry if its up there some where and just find it.

Im looking for some 17" light weight wheels that will be used for track/street. I love the look of the TT2's but to my understanding is they weigh a ton. Is there anything out there that doesnt cost $3000+ that Im looking for?

Cheap, lightweight and good looking is going to be hard to find. Just keep saving and get a set of Bogarts.

Light & Cheap do not go together.

You are looking at , Fikse, CCW, Bogarts . . . etc . . .

Yeah, those are nice! I like them a lot from the pics I've seen, but I've yet to see them on a car (in 17")

About the lightest "cheap" wheel I can think of is finding a used set of 17x9 Corvette magnesium 5-spokes. They came on the C5 as an option, and are a pewter metallic paint color.

Or, hold out for a set of used Fikse, CCW, Bogart, etc..

I've got a couple Fikse FM/10's and was really surprised by how light they were. If you shop the classified's here you'll occasionally find a good deal on a set.

i will have a set in my hands in about 2 weeks. weights from the wheels that were sent out for testing were in the 16-17lb range for a 2 piece forged wheel.

A set of 17x11 and 17x9.5 your looking at less then 1300 shipped with Lugs and valvestems.

so 16-17Ibs a piece and $1300 shipped. sounds like a stellar deal. and are the 17" version of the Street Lite's fitting on the f-body without issues? the F-body Street lite on the site only lists a 15" rim.

Yes the 17" will fit without issues. That was already checked on paper since we have all the measurements for the redesigned 15". This wheel will also be fitted for the proper Backspacing for the right look, without rubbing.

The F body came with 16" wheels stock, So when you try and go down in a size that they had a bigger size on for brake clearence issues, You run into a problem.

I have a set of those, 17x9 and 18x10. I weighed the fronts w/o tires. They weighed in at 17 lbs each. Cant remember how much the rears weighed.

I'd just go with some OEM 17" wheels.

Camaro ten spokes (painted): 22 lbs.
Camaro SS/"ZR1" style (painted): 20.5 lbs.

They can be had relatively cheap ($200-$300) in good condition.

there are wheels with the 15" Street lites and fitment which is now handled.

The 17" has not been released yet, i am looking at a few weeks still, and there website does list them here.
