Default Amercian Racing TT wheels, losing center caps?

Has anyone else had problems with the allen head bolts that hold on the caps coming loose, and actually losing a cap?

I keep finding them loose and lost a cap.

I used medium grade blue locktite the kind that you can take back out with hand tools. Don't use the high grade you won't get them off!!

When I used to work for Discount Tire I had issues with them. Basically every time I sold a set, there was at least one cap that would end up cross threaded and I had to get another cap and screws from AR. No matter how slow I went and how careful I was, always had issues.

I just used the locktite and I went ahead and got different screws from home depot. I hate the allen wrench screws .. Get rid of them

Since I did this, I've had no problems with missing screws, etc.

about a week ago. I was cruising and could hear a jingling sound. Then someone at a gas station got my attention and pointed at my back wheel. My center cap was hanging on by 1 bolt . Just went to lowes. Paid 1.06 and got a back of 12 bolts. (flat head)

Probably have to CAREFULLY turn the head of the screw with a pair of pliers.
