Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
It's a 1936 Chevrolet Standard 2-door Sedan (the Garage doesn't have any years earlier than 1950)
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Was set up for an LC2 Buick Grand National Turbo Intercooled V6. I sold all my Buick stuff and am currently building an LS1 for it with all truck accessories (essentially a 5.7 LM7 with an aluminum block). I'm runnning a 4L60E that connects to an 8.8 Ford from a 2000 Explorer.
Suspension Modifications:
Front- Fatman's Mustang II IFS with 11" power disc brakes and Air Ride Technologies tubular upper and lower A-Arms
Rear - The aforementioned 8.8 is hung on an owner-built triangulated 4-bar. The frame rails are C-notched for full suspension drop
Front and rear are suspended by Firestone air bags.
Front and rear are riding on Air
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
The wheels are American Racing Torque-Thrusts (technically they're CL205 wheels). Fronts are 17X7 and rears are 20X8.5. Looking to buy new rears(again) since I hadn't originally planned to mini-tub this car but have since changed my mind. It needs more tire.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Interior - It's not complete but plans are for a '60 Impala gauge cluster with an extra center pod. The dash has already been filled and the glove box removed. A center console is planned. I have to build the driveshaft tunnel higher because at full drop, the driveshaft comes into the cab!
Exterior - Steel body with a 3" chop top. Firewall filled and smoothed. Steel front fenders. Fiberglass running boards and rear fenders (2" wider than stock). Fiberglass trunk lid with frenched license plate. No bumpers front or rear. Read more ยป
