Only 50 examples of these hot rods were said to be produced and they were conservatively rated at 365hp. Each one carries a special VIN number and Mr. Lingenfelter added plenty of heat to the LT1, like ported LT4 heads, high-grade valvetrain components, including a bigger cam, 58mm throttle-body, Accel ignition, K&N air filter and a Borla exhaust, just to name a few! The special stitched interior is nice, but the exterior is what really does it! Black paint accented by gold wheels and a gold ram-air hood!
As for their exclusivity, we hear that not even 50 were produced and that there was one, yes, one convertible Hurst/LPE example produced! As an aside, there were also a selcect few 1998 Hurst/LPE models with the LS1 that made it to production. When we say few, were talking less 10…that’s the rumor anyway.
