GM is really teasing out the details of the new Camaro. If this was a prom date, I might have given up and gone home by now. Still, the kids at Chevy are slowly releasing details one at a time, photo by photo. This latest release shows us the new 6.2-liter LT1 that will nest itself between the Camaro’s front fenders. The photo doesn’t give up a lot of details, but it does impart some knowledge to us.

First off, we have a second look at the new triple-Y header, giving us a better idea of scale and position. Then if you take a peek down at the bottom attached to the oil pan you can see a new oil cooler that is pretty substantial in size. This points to the fact that the new Camaro will be even more track ready than it currently is.

With the release of the engine we also got some new details on suspension stuff and all Camaro SS models will now be offered with Magnetic Ride Control. That is the same suspension tech found on the current ZL1 as well as machines like the C7 Corvette and the Cadillac V Series.

So, to date we know have teaser photos for the engine, suspension, exhaust, wheels, brakes and frame. Eventually there will be a whole car, so keep your eyes here to find out when that happens.
