LS16? Devel Engine Dyno’d to 5000 Horsepower?

Oh. God. That’s all we can say about the Devel Sixteen’s engine but it looks rather familiar. It’s sixteen cylinders and four turbos, but they claim they won’t be using another manufacturer’s engine. Initially, it looks like it sure looks like it still took some key points from the LS-engine design, though. Listen to this thing in action.

While it’s not quite 5000-horsepower, 4515-horsepower at 6900-RPM isn’t anything to sneeze at either. Especially when you consider it makes 3519-lb/ft of torque at 36psi of 81mm quad turbo boost.
