2018 Camaro SS 1LE: What Do You Want to Know About It?

By -

Chevy threw me the keys to a Camaro SS 1LE for a week, and I might be in love.

This is the 2018 Camaro SS 1LE. It has a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, which makes 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1LE pack adds a bunch of track day goodies, like massive brakes, wide, sticky tires on 20-inch wheels, coolers for everything, and a bunch of chassis and suspension tweaks to make it the best handling Camaro to date. And, these days, that’s really saying something.

It looks aggressive and purposeful, and has been a delight to drive so far. That said, LS1tech readers, what do you want to know about the car? Drop your questions below, or in the video above. I will take a look at all of your questions and try to incorporate the most popular ones in my review when it comes out. Or, even if you don’t have any questions, I am open to suggestions for things to do with the car. People have already suggested rock crawling, and ghost riding the whip, and I’ll be sure to keep those in mind.

So, LS1tech, what do you say, or what do you want to know about the 2018 Camaro SS 1LE?

He enjoys track days, drifting, and autocross, at least, when his cars are running right, which is uncommon.
