Camaro vs Mustang Parachute Save At KOTS 2013: Video Inside

KOTS

Few drag-racing events are as insane as King of the Streets (KOTS). It’s claim to fame: High horsepower cars on an unprepared track running heads up for big money. As you’d guess, there are close calls every year and 2013 was no different. Here’s a crazy video of a Fox-body and a third Gen. Camaro going head-to-head and almost ending up nose-to-tail!

According to the video, the Fox-body is powered by a 427 LS-based motor with twin Precision 84mm billet turbos that made 1000 whp on just 10psi–it was apparently bumped to 30psi for the race. In the other lane an ’85 Camaro sports a BES-built 565ci Bow-tie motor with an Induction Solutions fogger system plugged with a 350 pill.

What ensues is pure insanity. Shall we call it synchronized drag racing? I’ve never seen anything like it!
