Crazy & Fast LS Swapped Rides: Track Time Tuesday Presented by Yokohama Tire’s ADVAN APEX

Swap everything! Harnessing the power of the mighty small block pushes these cars to new, awesome limits.
Now, we might be biased, but we think that the LS is the perfect engine for all swaps. LS engines have so many benefits: they’re affordable, accessible, light, and can fit a number of makes and models. The small block engines have a wide range of options to fit your needs for displacement and horsepower.
It stands to reason that LS swaps are so wildly popular. They breathe new life into some vehicles that need a good boost. Along the way, we’ve come across some swaps that seem to defy logic on paper. But when they come to fruition, they are bad-ass and powerful. Okay, and some are a bit crazy. But we love it. For this week’s Track Time Tuesday we present some of our favorite crazy and fast LS swaps.
1. 1967 Corvette
What happens when you take a sexy classic and drop in a 6.2L LT1 engine? You get a vintage C2 that makes a staggering 900 horsepower. Filmed by 1320 Video at the Pike’s Peak Airstrip Attack, you can see the twin-turbo-powered ‘Vette take a Lambo to school. A family project done by father and son, this Corvette earns its nickanme as the “Supercar Destroyer.”
This needs to be seen to truly be appreciated.
