Further proving the stereotype that LS motors fit anywhere, this dude dropped an LQ into a WRX. What’s wilder than that, is that he did it himself for no other reason besides shits and giggles. I barely have the words to describe how much I love this. I mean come on. This is a Subaru with the engine from a Hummer H2. Who wouldn’t love this?
It’s been converted to rear-wheel-drive, which makes sense. AWD would’ve been an incredible, but that would be a lot of work. The video makes it sound like he’s planning to throw a turbo on it. I’m not sure if that’s happened yet though. The video is kind of old (2009). Honestly, he’s probably lurking around this forum somewhere.
I do know I want to see more of this car. So bad ass.
