What Happens When A Lion Meets A Camaro?

By -

The king of this UK jungle decided it wanted catfish for dinner.

Have you ever taken a fun trip that somehow ends up going horribly wrong? We all have stories about stomach troubles, bad weather, and even terrible in-laws ruining road trips and vacations. But how many of you can say you’ve had a lion bite your car?

We are being dead serious here.

If you haven’t hit play yet, the video above shows a lion taking a literal bite into the back end of a F-body Camaro at some sort of wildlife park in Europe. He just walks right up to the bumper and tries to dig his teeth in. It’s the strangest thing we’ve seen in a long time.

We know you have a lot of questions about this video, so let’s just get the big stuff out of the way to start with. No, we have no idea why there is a safari park in the UK. No, we have no idea why an F-body ended up in Britain. And finally, we have no idea why someone would willingly drive a car nicknamed “catfish” past a group of hungry lions. Thankfully the damage appears to minor, and considering how hard it could be to get parts shipped in, the owners should be happy.

Speaking of, can we just take a minute to applaud the owner of this particular machine? Imagine being someone so awesome that you imported a Camaro for use in the UK. Not only are they proudly rocking one of America’s finest achievements across the pond, they’re driving it. No garage duty for this car, hoping it’ll turn in to a profit sometime later. We salute you, sir or madam.

Also, we truly are sorry for you about the lion bite. Hopefully you got that cleared up quickly.
