Hot Rod Garage Takes on a SS Chevelle
The 1970 SS Chevelle. It was a massively awesome two door muscle car that got beastly engines back in the day. Now however, those engines are pretty old and worn out. So what do you do? Swap it out, that’s what.
In this episode of Hot Rod Garage on MotorTrend’s YouTube channel, Tony Angelo swaps out the old engine for a fuel injected HT502 that will be disguised as an 454 LS6.
This build is actually the brainchild of Original Parts Groups owner who is on hand to help Tony install the new crate motor. The Chevelle will be back in a later episode when it’s done and ready so stay tuned because this project is surely going to be a sick one.
