There are some long-standing feuds in the automotive history, and among gearheads. Ford versus Chevy. Import versus domestic. Manual versus automatic. Naturally aspirated versus forced induction. Small block versus big block. Since it came on the scene, GM’s Gen III LS small block engine has build a reputation as one of the greatest performance engines ever.
And that perspective has only added more fuel to the already existing small block or big block rivalry fire. One lucky consequence for us in all this bad blood is an increase of friction playing out on the track.

Chevy Versus Ford
Of course we start with the long-standing clash of American automotive titans. In this pony car shootout, we have a Camaro taking on a Mustang GT. Ford has the advantage in horsepower. But the Camaro is the epitome of “there’s no replacement for displacement.” V8 to V8, who takes the win?
