LS2 Swapped Subaru BRZ with 500 Horsepower

There’s nothing like dropping a minty fresh LS engine into something that it was never designed to go in. In this case, that something is a brand new Subaru BRZ.

The owner of this particular BRZ decided that the measly 200 horsepower flat four cylinder engine just wasn’t enough power for their liking.

Unlike other BRZ and FR-S builds, the owner decided against turbo or supercharging the car and to went a different route. Instead of boosting they dropped an LS2 V8 out of a Z06 into the car’s engine bay.

It actually fits really well within the engine bay. Best part of the build, you’d never be able to tell that the car’s engine has been swapped just by looking at it.

Nothing is really done to the exterior besides some new wheels and brakes, and with around 500 horsepower, this car will definitely need to be able to stop.
