LS1 Miata Gets Sideways, Spins Some Donuts

Though we wouldn’t say that we usually stand on the side of Japanese sports cars, this Miata may very well might be the exception. But before the argument begins, let us state why — this little car may look like any other Miata, but it is actually powered by an LS1 V8, and it shows! It is always fun to own a V8, and it definitely doesn’t hurt to throw one under the hood of a 2200 pound car!

In the video below we see the 1991 Miata that a man named Nathan Summer did a LS1 swap into, and it definitely looks like a lot of fun.

Though the car itself looks very plain, just hearing it roar is enough to alert any enthusiast to the fact that this is no ordinary Mazda! The car shoots of like a rocket and spins some very smokin’ donuts around the parking lot, not taking long to generate plumes of white tire smoke! We can’t say that we aren’t jealous!
