LS6-Powered E36 BMW Sounds Baller
The BMW E36 series wasn’t exactly the most well-liked version of the iconic 3 Series. It was heavier, had less performance, and, frankly, was a bit ugly compared to its predecessor. I actually owned one for a while; because of all of its electrical issues, it was one of the worst cars I’ve ever owned. However, there is a loyal following of E36 owners out there that do some truly amazing things with their cars.
While the E36 wasn’t fast or pretty, the chassis was capable of handling insane amounts of power and torque. As a result, engine swaps are fairly common with this car. However, what isn’t common is this next swap. The owner of this E36 didn’t go the LS1 or even the LS3 route, but rather put an LS6 into his Bimmer. It now makes 364 horsepower at the rear wheels.
As you’ll see in the video below, the car sounds absolutely glorious and makes a ton of power. Now where can we test one of these out?
